FAQs

How long do evaluations take?

Evaluations consist of an approximately one-hour clinical interview that can be conducted virtually prior to in-person testing. In-person testing can take anywhere from 3-5 hours. Patients may complete cognitive and academic assessments and both patients and guardians will complete psychological surveys.  Approximately two weeks after testing, we meet for a one-hour virtual feedback appointment where we review the report, diagnoses, and recommendations.

Howmany offices do you have?

CPI now has 2 offices! One in Charlotte and one in Cary.

When do evaluations take place?

Patients are seen for in-person testing on weekdays and weekends. All of the testing is completed in one day in-person, unless the patient's needs are suitable for telehealth.

The patient needs to be accompanied by their guardian or caregiver (if applicable) for the entire evaluation.

Do you accept insurance?

CPI is proud to announce we now accept Partners Medicaid and Healthy Blue Medicaid!

All other patients can be seen on a private pay basis and are considered out-of-network. Fees vary depending on the type of evaluation. An estimate of fees is provided prior to testing.
